Earth hour in Tortoreto

Also this year Tortoreto will join the WWF Earth Hour, in fact, on March 27 at 8:30pm, the lights of Via Trieste in Tortoreto Lido will be turned off for one hour. A simple but very important gesture that will be carried out in all cities and countries around the world with the desire to demonstrate a concrete commitment to safeguarding the planet.

It’s an opportunity to draw attention to a more sustainable future and promote behavior and best practices to win the challenge against the fight for climate change. This symbolic gesture demonstrates that together we can make a big difference.

Environmental protection has always been in the first place for Tortoreto which, for several years now, has won, not only the Bandiera Blu for the quality of the sea, the Bandiera Verde for “child-friendly beaches” and the Bandiera Gialla of Cycle Municipality of FIAB, but also the Spighe Verdi for sustainable rurality.

The link between environmental protection and Tortoreto is getting closer and closer.
