The award, established by the FIAB – Italian Federation of the Environment and Bicycle – certifies the cycling degree of a locality and its territory and is assigned to those Municipalities that are committed to projects, events, activities and structures to enhance and promote more sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility.
Today Tortoreto conqers, for the fourth time, the FIAB Yellow Flag of the Cycle Municipalities and, thanks to the commitment shown and the implementation of the bike-friendly services carried out, it was the only one of the Municipalities of the May session to receive a promotion of the score going from 2 to 3 bike-smile.
This recognition demonstrates how Tortoreto is aiming at cycling, at an increasingly sustainable mobility and at a constantly improving quality of life in harmony with nature, both for its citizens and for tourists.
